Sights for NERF Rival

Improve the look of your NERF Rival and improve your accuracy! These custom back-up sights made from high-strength filament can be mounted to any Rival with a standard rail. Each set includes a front sight and a rear sight. Mounting Instructions: 1. Each sight includes two parts: one with the sight itself, already mounted to the top mounting plate, and one smaller mounting plate with flexible wings. First mount the smaller winged plate to the rail. 2. While holding the winged plate against the rail, mount the larger plate with the sight to the rail by first linking the bottom of the plate to the bottom of the rail, and lightly press the plate on top of the rail. 3. With the top plate now held onto the bottom plate, gently slide both wings of the smaller plate horizontally out so that the two half-circle tabs protruding downward from the top plate have the clearance necessary to slide below the two half-circle cut-outs on the wings of the smaller plate, and firmly press the top plate down, securing it onto the rail. NOTES: The first-time installation may be tight and require slightly more pressure for the top plate to mount to the bottom plate; however, only press firmly against the top plate once its tabs are cleared of the wings and edge on the bottom plate. In addition to the wings and tabs, each plate pair has a secondary set of internal tabs to ensure the sight stays secured to the rail. These secondary internal tabs may also be tight during the first installation. The rear sight can be mounted on a pistol or rifle as a red dot-style only addition. When both sights are mounted onto a NERF Rival, ensure to mount them at each end of the rail, giving the greatest distance between both sights. With that configuration, looking through the rear sight and placing its reticle in the center of the circle of the front sight will actually improve accuracy of the NERF Rival. IMPORTANT: The wings on the smaller plate, while flexible, should not be extended beyond the the half-circle tabs of the top plate; otherwise, the wings can break off. 4. To remove the sight, gently pull horizontally and hold the wings on the bottom plate outward. 5. While holding the wings, press on the half-circle tab on the center edge of the top plate upwards, releasing it from both sets of tabs.
